Michigan voters deadlocked on embryonic research

Michigan voters are deadlocked over the issue of embryonic stem-cell research. With 11 percent of precincts reporting, Proposition 2 is even, with each side receiving 50 percent of the votes. The proposal would amend the state’s constitution to allow for life-destroying, unrestricted experimentation on human embryos.
