Florida Marriage Amendment Holding Strong

The Florida Marriage Protection Amendment – Amendment 2 – is faring well. Recent polls show the amendment, which defines marriage as the legal union of only one man and one woman, has 63 percent support. It needs 60 percent to pass.

John Stemberger, president of the Florida Family Policy Council, is encouraged by the numbers but said it’s too early to celebrate as they are still waiting for results from Florida’s larger counties.
