California on Track to Restore Traditional Marriage

The polls just closed in California and results are trickling in for the state’s marriage amendment. Proposition 8, currently leading the polls by 55 percent, will reverse the California Supreme Court decision that legalized same-sex “marriage” earlier this year, by defining marriage as the union of a man and a woman in the state constitution.

“We know that God has gone before us,” Ron Prentice, executive director of the California Family Council, said. “Tens of thousands of people were praying over the weekend … praying and fasting for 40 days to give victory to California and protect marriage.”
